Full or Part- time Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, experienced delivery driver to become a vital part of our delivery team. Physical strength and stamina, as well as a clean driving record, are needed. Delivery Drivers must be organized, efficient and professional at all times while ensuring deliveries are made accurately and on time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements and follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries
  • Read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily route and ensure products are delivered in a timely manner and follow rules and regulations of the road at all times
  • Load and organize product inventory from warehouse into delivery vehicle and unload products in and out as needed throughout the day
  • Always keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy
  • Make sure inventory matches manifest (accompanying shipping document)
  • Scan or write in confirmation of delivery upon arrival to recipient client
  • Collect signature at delivery locales
  • Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift
  • Maintain all vehicles. Refuel vehicle as needed and inspect delivery vehicle daily looking for anything problematic (low tire pressure, tire wear, dents etc.) and report any abnormalities
  • Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while enroute, to supervisors
  • Follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product
  • Ability to help in the hardware store and build grills, wheelbarrows, fire pits, patio furniture as needed
  • Must be comfortable driving our pick-up truck and larger box trucks

Experience/Qualifications

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent certification
  • Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no moving violations
  • Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
  • Physically fit and strong, able to lift 75 pounds comfortably
  • Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts a plus
  • Self-motivated, self-starter willing to work hard and move the company forward
  • For Hire (Chauffer's) license will be condition of employment
  • Must be 21 years of age of greater per our Commercial Insurance requirement for operating our vehicles and must be approved by our insurance company is condition of employment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour plus a hiring bonus of $1250.00 paid over first 6 months of employement.


Full or Part-Time Cashier

Looking for a part-time cashier, available any day of the week, shift variation 4 hours to 8 hours. Positive attitude, team builder, reliable and a customer service orientated. Proficient computer skills, professional telephone skills, handling of cash and credit card transactions. Maintain stock in area along with pick up boxes max weight 40 lbs.  Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent or current student.  Willing to learn more and help grow the business. 

Rate of pay $15.00 an hour. Free parking. HIre bonus $1250.00 paid over first 6 months of employment.

Qualifications

-EPICOR/Activant Eagle POS/Inventory management software experience idea, but other POS/inventory management software experience will be considered

-Knowledge of products and applications in hardware, building materials, paint, electrical, plumbing, lawn & garden, and tools

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic PC troubleshooting

-Preferably retail hardware experience

Fusek’s True Value Hardware in downtown Indianapolis is seeking experienced candidates for management. We are experiencing growth with the influx of downtown residents and need you to have the experience to adapt to our environment quickly. Our ideal candidate would have previous experience in one of the big 3 co-ops (Ace, DIB, True Value) for ease of transition.

 

Qualifications

-EPICOR/Activant Eagle POS/Inventory management software experience ideal but other POS/inventory management software experience will be considered

-Extensive knowledge of products and applications in hardware, building materials, paint, electrical, plumbing, lawn & garden, and tools

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and basic PC troubleshooting

-Minimum 2, preferably 4 years retail hardware experience

-1 year previous retail management experience

 

 

Pay is competitive and negotiable based on experience-- hiring Bonus of $1250.00 paid over first 6 months of employment.
